October 28th, St. Louis. WINCHESTERFEST XXIIV. A friend of a friend's affair, with Gary Winchester pulling the strings.
The Sound of Symphony and Satire:
Hip hop, rock and roll, orchestra, grand piano. Music? Check. Tef Poe? Present. Poet Corey Black? Absolutely. Friends, special guests, and people who think they're special. All in rooms with notes and sounds.
Costumes? Sure, Why Not:
Wear a mask or become someone else's dream. Prizes for dressing, surprises for existing. Halloween, after all, is when you pretend to be what you secretly wish to be.
Intimacy, Exclusivity, and Other Fancy Words:
Invite-only, like a secret club, without the secret handshake. Friends of friends of friends. All friends, in theory.
Is This A Sustainable Party? You Betcha
The Earth’s invited too. It’s a guest that stays, you see. We’re responsible. But it’s not the only guest that can stay, you see. Caring for Earth like a reluctant gardener. It’s still there, even after the music stops.
Special Guests, Just Like Everyone Else:
Tef Poe will rap. Corey Black will poeticize. Everyone else will exist and enjoy. All special, in their special way.
Join the Masquerade, Or Don't. It's Your Existence:
Gary Winchester invites you. You ponder existence, friendship, music. You decide to go, or not. Either way, life goes on, but wouldn't it be nice to be a part of something exclusive?
October 28th, St. Louis. WINCHESTERFEST XXIIV. An affair to remember, or forget, depending on how you look at it.
